The Organic Consumers Association (OCA) is an online and grassroots non-profit 501(c)3 public interest organization campaigning for health, justice, and sustainability. The OCA deals with crucial issues of food safety, industrial agriculture, genetic engineering, children’s health, corporate accountability, Fair Trade, environmental sustainability and other key topics.

Washoe County Food Policy Council
to improve networking, collaboration, and promotion of access to healthy foods in Washoe County. Established by the Washoe County District Board of Health in October 2011, the Washoe County Food Policy Council will be charged with implementing the goals of the Washoe County Food Plan, Access to Health Food in Washoe County: A Framework for Food System Design. A copy of the Washoe County Food Plan, and Food Policy Council applications can be found online at www.washoecounty.us/health.

Slow Food Reno
The mission of Slow Food Reno is to create a culture where the Great Basin Community promotes and advocates wholesome, clean and flavorful food.

R.I.S.E. Reno Initiative for Shelter and Equality
